Several members of the University of North Georgia (国产自拍) chapter of the Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society were recognized at the society's 2019 international convention in St. Louis, Missouri, March 27-30.

Several students presented their essays, spoke at roundtable events, and attended leadership sessions and author talks. Also in attendance were Drs. Leigh Dillard and Macklin Cowart, both associate professors of English at 国产自拍.

Brittany Barron, a 2016 国产自拍 Alumni from Pendergrass, Georgia, who is finishing her term as Southern Region Student Representative, won the top prize in the Original Poetry category for her work "Mad Girl at Home."

Amanda Ayers presented her paper, "A Syntactic Study of Sherlock Holmes," which won the second-place prize in the Critical Essay: Other category. She was appointed to a two-year position as student adviser for the honor society and Jennifer Harris was elected associate student representative for the Southern Region.

Other students who presented included Tiffany Montgomery, Selene Godina, Lainey England, Sunnie Barlow, Shea Barfield, and Brianna Zumbrum. Attendees who did not present were Harris, Zachary McCollum and Benn Cagle.

The 国产自拍 group also won an honorary mention for its chapter display.
