Nick Karavite, a senior from Waterford, Michigan, pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in management, connected with Northwestern Mutual in a recent career fair after engaging with several potential employers.
"Northwestern Mutual also showed interest in me and has given me a great opportunity. The job fair has given me an opportunity to pursue a great career," Karavite said.
The opportunity resulted in an internship.
"Nick was professionally persistent and followed up with me over email after the career fair. I was impressed and intrigued to continue the conversation," Claire Tatum, campus recruiter for Northwestern Mutual Life, said. "He was mature and prepared through our three-step selection process and his weeks of onboarding. He has exceeded expectations in his language prep and licensing course work prior to training as well."
Tatum said that Northwestern Mutual's internship has been ranked as a top-10 internship across the nation for the past 25 years.
"This is not an easy internship to become a part of, or to find immediate success in. However, I am confident that Nick can find long-term success with our team," Tatum said. "We are so excited for Nick's future at Northwestern Mutual and hope to continue building relationships with stellar 国产自拍 students."
