Equipment Rental & Resource Library
Outdoor Pursuits provides a variety of outdoor equipment to the students, faculty and staff of the University of North Georgia. Equipment is available at no additional cost to all currently enrolled fee-paying students, and full-time, benefited faculty and staff members up to a $675 value limit.
The Outdoor Pursuits Resource Library provides a variety of resources to the students, faculty and staff of the University of North Georgia. These resources include material needed to educate renters on outdoor skills and opportunities for recreation in the north Georgia and surrounding areas. Resources are available at no additional cost to all currently enrolled students, and full-time, benefited faculty and staff members up to a $50 value limit.
Rental requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Requests made less than 24 hours from desired pick-up time cannot guarantee fulfillment.

*If there is anything you wish to add to your bundle rental when renting out, just make sure to request those items to be rented out in the “Notes” section. Furthermore, if you would like a specific sleeping bag degree or specific liter backpack, make sure to add that information within the “Notes” upon requesting the gear.

Curbside pick-ups and returns:
- There will be one reserved parking spot on the top deck of the rec center.
- Call Outdoor Pursuits at 706-867-4431 upon arrival and we will accommodate you promptly.
Equipment may be reserved on holidays and/or breaks by appointment only. Please email northgeorgiaoutdoorpursuits@gmail.com to submit your request.
Please note: We cannot guarantee the equipment will be available if another renter does not return the equipment or all equipment is rented out before your reservation is entered. Every effort will be made to fill the reservation.
