Student Procedure - Apply to Graduate
Summer 2024 Application Deadline
The Graduation Application and Fee Deadline for Summer 2024 ceremonies is June 12.
How to Apply for Graduation in Banner
- Log in to and select "Banner Student"
- Select the four-square icon in the upper left corner and select "Student Records"
- Select
- Select your curriculum term (catalog term) and Submit
- Select your degree program and select "Continue"
- Select your Graduation Date (term) and select "Continue"
- Select your choice for Attend Ceremony and select "Continue"
- Select your Current Name and select "Continue"
- For your diploma, you may change your middle name and/or suffix and select "Continue"
- For mailing your diploma, select your address choice or add a new address and select "Continue"
- Add/verify your diploma mailing address and select "Continue"
- On the Summary page, verify all your information, then select "Submit Request"
How to View Your Graduation Application in Banner
Once submitted, you can always view your graduation application(s):
- Log in to and select "Banner Student"
- Select the four-square icon in the upper left corner and select "Student Records"

How to Pay Your Required Graduation/Diploma Fee
Once you submit your application, a $55.00 graduation/diploma fee will be added to your student account within 48 hours. Please pay with one of the payment options below. If payment is made after the 48 hour period, please contact the Business Office to let them know to apply the payment as your graduation fee.
- Pay online with a web-check (at no additional cost to you)
- Pay online with a debit/credit card. This will incur a convenience fee charge of 2.95%* (minimum of $3.00/transaction).
- Pay in person at the Business Office on the Dahlonega or Gainesville campus with cash, check, or money order.
- Pay at our payment stations on the Oconee or Cumming campuses with check or money order (no cash payments).
